With its focus on collaboration, the new Cisco Networked Virtual Environments and Virtual Worlds blog should help the much needed dialog between hardware providers, service providers and actual content product consumers. It’s interesting to note that they, along with so many others continue to struggle with terminology:
The term ‘Virtual Worlds’ can be a bit misleading, which is why you’ll see the term ‘Networked Virtual Environments’ in our blog description.
when there’s an alternative like meshverse. At least now we don’t have to speculate as much about what Cisco may do in the meshverse.
